grace jones strikes back: corporate cannibal

Der neue Song und das Video „Corporate Cannibal“ von Grace Jones wirbeln grade Staub auf. Der Song ist über 6 Minuten lang, aber es lohnt sich, obwohl die Musik für meinen Geschmack minimal härter/kälter sein könnte. Das Video erinnert in seiner Grundidee an Aphex Twin & Björk – und von der Ästhetik her an das Video zu „Word Up“ von Spice-Girl Mel B. (eine freudlose Coverversion von Cameo’s supercoolem Smashhit WORD UP von 1986). Vielleicht war derselbe Regisseur am Werk?
